Hydrating with food: Tip of the Day 6-22-22
Staying hydrated while on summer vacation can be tricky, especially if you’re in a place known for its excellent wine🍷 . I’m currently in Florence, Italy after spending a few nights in Venice and there’s been no shortage of great wine here. If you find yourself in a similar situation, experts say water and hydrating foods are key.
My amazing tour guide advised me that one of the best ways to truly experience the culture of any place is by visiting the local supermarket. Hydrating fruits and veggies are always a good idea. As long as there are no sanitary hazards, don’t pass up the opportunity to try the local produce when visiting new places. As of now in Italy, I’ve had the best tomatoes, and very good apricot, melons, peaches, and pineapple so far.
Of course, drinking water is important! I’m doing that too. ☺️
Until next time, ciao! 🇮🇹
